The tourism industry is very polluting in numurous ways of which we are part of. We see that the market is slowly gradually shifting towards a greater demand for a sustainable operations, but overall remains quite conservative. In this aspect we want to contribute in a creative out-the-box way. For the disposal of used matrasses there are several options. Bring them to Renewi for recycling. Though this is a sound option, the capacity of Renewi for recycling is not yet completely fullfulling. Bring the old products to a dump. Of course this contributes to polluting. Last option is to give the porducts a second life thru donating the old productes to charity, but here lies the problem that sometimes the state of the products are below acceptance level or that the charity party doesn't have the capability to accept, transfer, or goals to proceed. A challenge could be finding the fourth solution.
