All factories come to a standstill without well-trained workers who can supervise production. This is where we set our sights; there are still far too few of these in the Netherlands. The current number of vacancies available for any (process) operator is 23 and many more are expected to be added in the coming years.

Process engineering is of great importance to society and crucial to our economy. With 'Process Operator of the Year', we focus the spotlight on both active (process) operators and the entire industry. Together with partner companies from the Southeast Netherlands, this fantastic sector can gain a firmer foothold. The aim of this campaign is to enthuse people about this promising profession.
