Many businesses who are motivated to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), don’t have tools to make concrete how they can contribute to the SDGs. Recent research shows that it is possible to lower the threshold for business to invest in such a way that it contributes to the SDG's. Revenue models that has shown to work in one way might be usefull in other situations. There are already many tools developed for companies by other parties, for example to map out the SDGs, identify risks (e.g. the CSR risk checker of MVO), to accelerate them, or to report on them, etc. RVO also developed an internal toolkit on the SDG’s, but this toolkit is not (yet) widely promoted or used, nor accessible externally (i.e. for entrepreneurs). What would be a strategy to motivate companies to make a more sustainable business case in relation to the SDGs ánd their own financial goal (profit, not for profit). This strategy is to be used in sereval subsidy schemes.
