ECP | Platform for the Information Society is an independent and neutral platform in the Netherlands where government, academia, businesses, education, and civil-society organizations collaborate in a public-private setting. The organization focuses on sharing knowledge and jointly shaping a responsible approach to an increasingly digital society.

ECP works from a societal mission: contributing to a digital society that is both promising (creating opportunities) and trustworthy. It is therefore not a lobbying or interest-representation organization. Instead, ECP provides a meeting and cooperation platform where public, societal, and private stakeholders can work together. This collaborative character is visible across nearly all of its working groups, platforms, and events.

An underlying and important value guiding ECP’s activities is good governance; promoting responsible, transparent, and well-managed digital development for society.
