1. Description of the Challenge

SuperFlora is a young company, both in terms of age and mentality, that wants to distinguish itself from its competitors. Sustainability is one of the components that can contribute to this distinction. Customer requirements with regard to sustainability are becoming more and these requirements weigh more important every time. The times of buying something without thinking about the sustainable impact are coming to an end. We supply sustainably grown products, with as few pesticides as possible, harvested by people who are not exploited, transported in a way that emits as little CO2 as possible, packed with as little packaging material as possible and all for a competitive price that the customer is willing to pay.

Now the awareness on sustainability is growing with our customers, we also need to up our game. We want to involve every colleague into the subject of sustainability and make sure they will implement sustainability in their role. SuperFlora is a company with a lot of Supply Chain specialists, but is missing people specialized in Marketing & communication or Psychology to set up a program which stimulates her employees regarding sustainability. SuperFlora hopes to find specialized students who can fill these gaps, but also students who understand the daily business and can connect this to the result we are looking for.
