Smart technologies such as automated lighting, smart curtains, and fall sensors already exist, but for many seniors (50+), they are too complex to install. Meanwhile, overstretched healthcare staff don't have the time to act as an IT helpdesk. That is why ViVa! Zorggroep is handing this business idea over to you as a student entrepreneur: Design an all-in-one Smart Home service platform (including a viable business model) that completely takes care of everything from installation to software updates for the elderly.

ViVa! Zorggroep is a well-known elderly care organization in the Kennemerland region of North Holland. With more than 3,500 employees and 1,500 volunteers, we provide our clients with the care and services they need to live as healthily and comfortably as possible. At home, or, when that is no longer possible, in one of our residential care locations. Most of our clients are older adults, although our district nursing services are also available to people aged 18 and over.
We offer support with household assistance, home care, personal care, nursing, rehabilitation, specialist care, and palliative care. We do this together with our partner organizations and colleagues, as well as with the families, friends, neighbours, and informal caregivers of our clients. Because one of the most valuable things you can do together is provide quality of life.
