1. Description of the Challenge
The goal is to have an approach to measure carbon footprint of scope 3 activities in the downstream value chain category transportation and distribution. CHALLENGE: The challenge is to benchmark methodologies currently applied to measure transportation and distribution carbon emissions and develop for Amgen an approach to measure transportation and distribution carbon emissions for delivery of Amgen’s sold product to our customer (wholesaler, hospital, retail pharmacy, etc.).
