1. Description of the Challenge
Design a practical solution (tool, intervention, or concept) that helps both migrant workers and De Graaf Bakeries to recognize, understand, and bridge cultural differences in the workplace – in order to enhance collaboration, job satisfaction, and mutual respect.
A substantial share of our employees are migrant workers, and we expect this to remain the case. Good collaboration will lead to job satisfaction for everyone, is essential for continuity, and will result in the company’s success.
2. Expected Outcome
Increase in job satisfaction and reduction of early turnover due to cultural differences or the inability to retain and engage employees sustainably.
